1
Select a blunt object to use for applying pressure to points. The eraser of a pencil works well.
-
2
Lay on your side and bend your knees towards your chest, so that you're in a fetal position. Place a pillow between your knees to reduce pressure on your spine.
-
3
Locate the first 3 points. Point GB 30 is located near the buttocks, at the ball joint of the leg and hip. Points GV 1 and 2 are located on the spine, slightly beneath the tailbone and just above the tailbone respectively.
-
4
Prod around each acupressure point with your pencil eraser or finger until you feel an odd sensation or a tender area. Press until the point hurts, then turn your blunt object clockwise, to "reduce the acupressure point."

5
Find point UB 47 by placing your finger just above the top of your hipbone, at your waist. Then, move your finger toward your spine until you're four finger widths from the spine. This is point UB 47. Apply pressure and reduce the point.

6
Continue to move your finger, towards your spine, so that you're 2 finger widths from your spine. This is point UB 23. Apply pressure and reduce the point.
-
7
Turn onto your other side and repeat this process. Remember to apply pressure to each acupressure point and then reduce the point turning your blunt object clockwise.
