Wipe the chicken with a tissue to remove any fleas left on the body.

    • 3

Pour olive oil in a disposable bowl. Dip your fingers in the oil. Rub the head and eyelids of the chicken with the olive oil. If stick fast fleas get into the eyes of chickens they can cause blindness. Olive oil will not irritate the eyes of the chickens.

Clean the poultry house and spray insecticide to prevent further infestation and to remove any stick fast fleas residing in the area.

    • 5

Repeat the oil treatment and insecticide spraying every week until the infestation is eradicated completely.
