Who started acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years. The exact origins of acupuncture are unknown, but it is believed to have originated in China during the Stone Age. The earliest written records of acupuncture date back to the Warring States period (475-221 BC), when it was mentioned in the Nei Jing, one of the earliest Chinese medical texts. The development of acupuncture is attributed to the legendary Emperor Huang Di, who is said to have lived in the third millennium BC.
