How to Tincture Green Walnut Hulls
Things You'll Need
- Vodka
- Glass container
- Vitamin C powder
- Plastic scrub brush
- Distilled water
- Small storage bottles

Collect only healthy, green, undamaged hulls. It is okay that the walnuts are still inside.

Wash the hulls with cold, distilled water. Use a plastic scrub brush to remove any stuck-on dirt.

Place the hulls in a glass container or pot that has a lid.

Fill the container with enough vodka that all of the hulls are covered.

Sprinkle in one teaspoon of vitamin C powder.

Place the lid on the container. Any metal lids or lids with metal edging should be lined with plastic wrap.

Let the hulls soak for three days.

Remove the walnuts.

Sprinkle in one more teaspoon of vitamin C powder.

Use a funnel to divide the tincture into small bottles.

Store the tincture bottles in the freezer.
