How to Treat Acne with Garlic
Garlic is a not only a flavorful accent to many dishes, it is also a potent antibiotic. You can rub a dab of garlic juice (from the raw clove) onto a blemish for one to three minutes to kill off the bacteria surrounding the blemish.Things You'll Need
- Fresh garlic (in cloves)
- Sharp knife
- Gentle, non-irritant cleanser such a Cetaphil
- Water
- Towel

Wash your hands thoroughly. Make sure to wash between your fingers, around your wrists and under your fingernails.

Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil. Pat dry with a clean towel.

Peal away the skin around the garlic clove and separate one clove from the bunch.

Slice the end of the clove with a clean, sharp knife. You will be able to see the garlic juice.

Place the end of the clove (the juicy side) on the blemishes. Dab the end and move on to the next blemish, if any. This may sting!
