1
Feed garlic to your dog in order to treat internal parasites. Rather than creating a toxic environment that kills the parasites, garlic cleans out your dog's system so that it is no longer a suitable environment for worms. Garlic cleans out the dog's intestines, reducing the mucus and waste on which the worms feed.

2
Feed larger amounts of garlic to larger breeds when you suspect internal parasites. Include 2 to 3 cloves in your animal's meal for breeds weighing over 35 lbs.
-
3
Use a slightly smaller amount for a medium-size breed. For an animal weighing between 15 to 35 pounds, a single garlic clove with meals should be sufficient.
-
4
Feed small dogs and cats, those weighing 15 pounds or less, half a clove at each meal.
-
5
Use garlic as a preventative treatment for large livestock. Mince 3 garlic cloves and combine them with 5 wormwood leaves, some sunflower seeds and some onion. If you feed this to your livestock weekly, it is a good preventative measure against internal parasites.

6
Use garlic to treat not only internal parasites, but external annoyances as well. Garlic is a powerful mosquito deterrent and also works against fleas.
