How to Clear Spider Veins with Bio-Dyne

Bio-dyne, which is extracted from brewer's yeast, was the main ingredient in (George) Sperti's Ointment, which is no longer on the market. Also known as LYCD (live yeast cell derivative), bio-dyne is a main ingredient in Preparation H sold in Canada. Many consumers apply bio-dyne topically to treat varicose veins--also known as spider veins--and many home consumers attest to its effectiveness.

  Inspect the ingredients in your product of choice. Bio-dyne is generally used at 1 percent.

  Wash a small area of skin with mild soap, and pat dry. Apply a small amount of bio-dyne to the area, massage it in and wait six hours to make sure you have no adverse reaction. If there is an adverse reaction, wash the bio-dyne off with mild soap and discontinue use.

  Wash the area of your skin you wish to apply the bio-dyne with mild soap and pat dry--if there was no negative skin reaction in Step 2. Apply the bio-dyne to the area of skin where varicose veins are visible and allow 12 hours.

  Wash the area again with mild soap and pat dry before reapplying. Two times per day is the recommended usage for hemorrhoids (if using Preparation H from Canada); however, some consumers report using it every six hours for varicose veins (for which there is no recommended usage from a pharmaceutical company).
