How to Make Your Own Colloidal Silver Maker

Colloidal silver is a powerful antibacterial and immune-enhancing supplement. It can be used for everything from preventing infections in a cut to relieving cold symptoms. But purchasing pre-made colloidal silver can become very expensive over time, and can be difficult to find in stores. If you could create your own colloid, you would be able to have a fresh supply any time you needed it. Fortunately, a colloidal silver generator is easy to build.

Things You'll Need

  • 3 9-volt batteries
  • 3 snap-on battery lead connectors
  • 2 insulated alligator clips
  • Sub-miniature incandescent light bulb (24 volt, 40 mA)
  • Heat-shrink insulation tubing (3/32" diameter, 1 foot long)
  • Two-conductor stranded insulated wire (1 foot long)
  • Soldering iron
  • Heat gun

Instructions

    • 1

Solder the battery connectors together in series, and attach the insulated wire. Connect the bulb to the series, to serve as an indication of battery power remaining.

    • 2

Solder the red alligator clip to the positive and the black clip to the negative wire. Use the heat gun to shrink insulation over the soldered connections.

    • 3

Cut the pure silver wire in half and attach the alligator clips to the end of each. Snap the batteries into their connectors to provide power.

    • 4

To use the generator, submerge one end of each silver wire in a glass of distilled water.
