How to Treat a Bladder Infection With Cranberries
Things You'll Need
- 1 lb. fresh or frozen cranberries
- Food processor
- Sugar or honey, to taste
- Orange zest, 1-2 tsp. (optional)
- Plain yogurt (optional)
Instructions

1
Prepare the cranberries. If using fresh cranberries (recommended), wash the berries thoroughly and pat them dry with a cloth. If using frozen berries, partially defrost them in the microwave.
-
2
Fit the food processor with the blade and pour in the berries. Pulse until the berries are chopped. Be careful not to overprocess the cranberries. The berries should be in small chunks, not pureed.
-
3
Scrape the chopped cranberries into a bowl. Add sugar or honey to sweeten the berries, but don't go overboard. For maximum effect, the cranberries should be eaten in as pure a form as possible.
-
4
Eat about 1/4 cup of the cranberry mixture every 20 to 30 minutes until it is gone. Add a sprinkling of fresh orange zest or a dollop of plain, unsweetened yogurt if the taste is unappealing.
