How to Change the Screen in Vaporizer Whip
Vaporizers are a useful tool for aromatherapy. As opposed to burning your oils and herbs with an open flame, the vaporizer heats air to a specific temperature and a glass and rubber tube is used to inhale the hot air through the oils or herbs. The air temperature is hot enough to evaporate certain chemicals but not to ignite the material as a flame would. The material is placed on a screen that rests inside the the glass mouthpiece and the screen requires changing as residue accumulates on it during the vaporizing process.Things You'll Need
- Bamboo stick
- Dental pick
- Replacement screen

1
Disconnect your glass mouthpiece from the rubber tube. Use the bamboo stick to push the old screen out of the bottom of the mouthpiece.
-
2
Bend the replacement screen in half, forming a taco shell shape. The screen will bend more easily if the mesh is straight up and down, instead of at a cross angle, when bent.
-
3
Use the dental pick to slide the replacement screen into the mouthpiece just beyond the groove where the old screen sat. Make sure the tip of the screen is angled up as you slide it in to ensure it clears the groove.
-
4
Slide the bamboo stick up the other end of the mouthpiece. Apply constant pressure to evenly unfold the screen into the groove. Look down into the mouthpiece at the screen. If the screen is wrinkled, use the dental pick to smooth it out.
