How to Make Sniffing Salts
Sniffing salts, also known as smelling salts, are traditionally used to revive someone who has fainted. With ingredients that are absorbed through the mucous membranes in the nose, smelling salts promote quicker respiration, which restores consciousness. Originally made with ammonia, smelling salts can also be made from eucalyptus oil as a safer alternative. Smelling salts can also be a bowl of salts and essential oils used around the home to reduce congestion during cold and flu season.Things You'll Need
