Eucalyptus Spray Uses

Eucalyptus spray is made from the oil that is taken from the eucalyptus tree native to Australia. Eucalyptus has a soothing and cooling aroma, and its thin, clear oil can be put into anything from balms to sprays. Eucalyptus spray can be popularly used medicinally, as perfume, and industrially. It can even be used for animals.

Medicinal Uses

• Eucalyptus spray has excellent medicinal properties when it comes to opening bronchial tubes and soothing spasmic coughing fits. Eucalyptus spray or oil can be applied on a person's back or chest, or sprayed in the mouth and gargled to relieve congestion, reduce inflammation and open sinus, nasal and bronchial passages. Using eucalyptus spray while taking a hot bath may also help ease aching muscles.

Perfume

• Eucalyptus spray can also be used as an earthy perfume, or can be sprayed as an air freshener. This scent may be very pungent, however, so make sure the spray only has a few drops of eucalyptus oil in it, to keep the scent from overpowering.

Industrial uses

• The soothing properties of eucalyptus spray makes it popular for industrial use, in cleaning solutions for health clubs, in their steam rooms and saunas, as well as on some international flights. The pungent eucalyptus is also a natural insect repellent, so spraying it on your plants may help them fight off insect invaders.

Animals

• Eucalyptus spray may help keep pets' skin healthy, as well as reduce infestation in their bedding (and cut down the smell, too). Using eucalyptus spray mixed with animal safe oils or minerals will help keep your animals healthy and smelling good.
