How to Mix Essential Oils for Healing

Essential oils are the "essence" of a plant distilled into an oil-like form. A steam or water distillation process concentrates the liquids inside a plant into potent essential oils. Essential oils can be highly beneficial to human health emotionally and physically. While essential oils are often used in aromatherapy, the inherent healing properties of essential oils can be beneficial when applied to the skin. Mixtures of essential oil can relieve menstrual cramps, headaches and stress.
