How Kill Nose Fungus

Your sinuses are your first defense against fungus and illness. Nasal fungus can cause you to feel congested and leave your sinuses sensitive, and if left untreated, could make it necessary to have surgery. Nasal irrigation provides an effective way to get rid of existing nose fungus. While nasal irrigation takes some getting used to initially, you'll soon notice how clear and clean your sinuses feel and you'll wonder how you ever went without performing regular nasal irrigation.

Instructions

    • 1

Mix non-iodized salt and warm water in your nasal irrigation pot. The amount of salt and water depend on the size of your pot (your pot will give you appropriate amounts or may come with saline solution to mix with water).

    • 2

Stir the mixture in your pot, being careful to not spill the mixture. You'll know the mixture is ready when the salt is no longer visible. Use a clean spoon when mixing to avoid contaminating your sinuses with outside bacteria.

    • 3

Tilt your head to the left over a sink or basin so your chin and nose are on the same horizontal line. Slowly place the opening of the pot in your right nostril and allow the saline mixture to drain out of your left nostril. Continue until the mixture has drained through your sinuses.

    • 4

Breathe out of your nose gently to release any remaining fluid and congestion (including fungus). You may also choose to gently blow your nose into a tissue.

    • 5

Repeat steps 3 and 4, only tilt to the right side this time. Place the opening of the pot in the left nostril so the mixture drains through the right nostril.
