How to Heal Cuts With Turmeric

In Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric powder is often used as a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent to heal wounds. Turmeric is believed to make wounds heal faster. Its use is so widespread in India that Johnson & Johnson markets turmeric Band-Aids in that country. Practitioners of Western medicine are starting to take notice of ancient remedies, and a number of studies on the effectiveness of turmeric have been conducted.

Pat the area dry. The skin around the wound needs to be dry so a bandage will stick to it.
