Who invented inhalers?

In 1858, a French physician, Sales-Girons designed the first inhaler from rubber with valves to let air and the nebulized medicine inside. Later in 1864, Arthur Sansom used a device with ether instead of steam. Finally, in 1874 a French Physician, Charlse Pravaz invented the first metered-dose inhaler.
