Can sterile water use for smear preparation?
Sterile water should not be used for preparing blood smears for microscopy. Sterile water lacks the necessary components to preserve and stain the cellular components of blood, resulting in poor-quality smears. Instead, blood smears should be prepared using a specially formulated staining solution that preserves and colors the cellular components, allowing for accurate microscopic examination and identification of blood cells.
