About Transformational Breath Exercises

Transformational breathing increases the amount of oxygen in your body. It's defined as breathing in a rhythmic, deep fashion to engage the movement of your diaphragm. The process helps your capacity to heal because it promotes you to breathe consciously. Paying attention to your breathing patterns, look inside yourself and de-stress. Transformational breathing is said to encourage the innate healing capacity you have. Millions of people participate in breath work, and many claim to have experienced healing within their mind, body and spirit.
  1. Technique

    • While taking a session to learn about transformational breathing exercises, you learn techniques to free up your breath and release blockages and restrictive patterns. You re-learn how to breathe from your diaphragm.

    Brisk Warm-Up

    • Put on upbeat music and stand with your feet slightly apart. Raise your arms as you inhale. Lower them as you exhale, keeping a reasonably quick pace. Do this for several minutes, until the song ends.

    Core Breathing Exercises

    • Lie down on your back, on a cushion of blankets and pillows. Breathe through a wide-open mouth as you consciously think of each breath, being careful not to pause between the inhales and exhales. Continue as you sink into deep relaxation.

    Vocalization

    • Keeping your mouth wide open, vigorously exhale, accompanying the movement with sound. Focus on each exhale, realizing that the physical and mental challenge is moving the negative energy out of your body.

    Softer Breathing

    • Transition into softer breathing, where your senses are heightened, Listen to soft music as you relax and consciously feel as the music washes over you.

    Sessions

    • Sessions are available through personal coaches and breathing institutes. If you don't attend a workshop or class, you can still learn transformation breath exercises through guided meditation CDs and DVDs.
