Understand the principal -
Slowing your breathing will lower your blood pressure. You only need to do this for 20-30 minutes a day and the effects last all day. Focus on your exhale. -

Find a relaxing position (sitting or laying down but not while driving!)

Take a deep breath allowing your stomach to expand.

Slowly let the air release. Ideally, you will take only six breaths a minute which means exhaling for 10-15 seconds. Repeat for 20 minutes.
