Chinese Herbs for Fear

Traditional Chinese herbs can be used to treat fear and anxiety disorders. Use of herbal medicines has gained popularity in the western countries due to their non-toxic nature. They can be combined together to form a tonic or serum.
  1. Ginseng Root

    • Ginger grows naturally in well-drained hardwood forests. The root of the ginseng plant plays a central role in Chinese medicine and has been used for centuries as a natural remedy. It is used to relieve fatigue and aids in helping mental and nervous exhaustion. It has become increasingly popular outside of China and can now commonly be found in health food stores as well as commercial grocery stores.

    Poria Mushroom

    • Poria mushroom, also referred to as Fu Ling and China-root, is used to treat memory loss, anxiety, restlessness and tension. Poria mushroom has not been studied sufficiently to determine whether there are potential side effects.

    Albizia

    • Albizia, also referred to as he huan hua, means 'flowers.' Flowers and bark of the mimosa tree have a sedative effect and are used to treat depression, anxiety and stress. Albizia is native to Persia, Korea, Japan, and China.
