    • Tiger Balm was first invented in 1870s in Singapore by Aw Chu Lin. On his deathbed he asked his sons Aw Boon Paw and Aw Boon Par to perfect the recipe.

    • Tiger Balm comes in different intensities. Tiger Balm Red is for aches and pains and Tiger Balm White delivers less heat and more of a warming sensation.

    • Tiger Balm has several uses including relieving itching from mosquito bites, easing muscle pain, helping with migraine pain and reducing coughing when it is applied to the chest and back.

    • Tiger Balm consists of petroleum jelly, paraffin, cajuput oil, camphor, mint oil, menthol and camphor.

    • Excess use of Tiger Balm can lead to skin irritation and should also be kept away from mucous membranes.
