How do you describe color pink to a blind man?

Color cannot be perfectly translated into words for someone who doesn't have an understanding what that sense entails. But one can draw parallel in some other part of life of that person and give analogies in order to make him/her understand somewhat close.

1. Using touch: Pink is a soft, delicate color, like the gentle touch of a rose petal or the warmth of a summer breeze on your skin.

2. Using taste: Pink is a sweet, creamy flavor, like strawberry ice cream or a slice of perfectly ripe watermelon.

3. Using sound: Pink is a high-pitched, lilting melody, like the sound of a wind chime or the tinkling of laughter.

4. Using emotions: Pink is a feeling of affection or love, like the warmth of a hug or the comfort of a cherished memory.

5. Using other visual concepts: Pink is like holding a prism to white light - a hint of red's strength without its overexertion but containing the soothing effects of white.
