1
Cleanse by briefly placing your lapis lazuli stone under warm running water. Do not soak the stone in water for a long period of time, because soaking will damage the stone. Use a soft brush or washcloth and a mild soap to remove debris and dirt. Dry immediately with a soft cloth.

2
Repolish the stone periodically. Apply a small amount of jewelry wax to the surface, and buff it in with a soft cloth. This will renew the surface when it starts to look dull.
-
3
Store your lapis lazuli in a box or container that is lined with soft fabric. This will protect the finish of the stone from being scratched or damaged when you are not using or wearing it.

If you believe in the healing powers of lapis lazuli, you can recharge your stone once a month. Put the stone in a bowl filled with tumbled hematite, and leave it overnight. Then place the stone in a bowl of clear quartz crystals for another night. This will dispel any negative energy and recharge your lapis lazuli with positive energy.
