Unconscious How to
1. Call 911 immediately. This is the most important step, as unconsciousness can be a sign of a serious medical condition.
2. If the person is not breathing, start CPR. CPR can help to keep the person's blood flowing and oxygenated until medical help arrives.
3. If the person is breathing, turn them onto their side. This will help to prevent them from choking on their own vomit.
4. Loosen any tight clothing around the person's neck. This will help to make it easier for them to breathe.
5. Stay with the person until medical help arrives. Try to keep them calm and reassured.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind if someone is unconscious:
* Do not give them any food or water. This could cause them to choke.
* Do not try to wake them up. This could make their condition worse.
* Do not move them unless they are in immediate danger.
If the person regains consciousness, stay with them until they are fully alert and oriented. If they have any questions or concerns, help them to get the answers they need.
