Why ear traps water?
The ear does not actually trap water. Water may enter the ear during activities such as swimming or bathing, but it typically drains out naturally due to gravity and the shape of the ear canal. In some cases, water may become trapped in the ear if there is a blockage, such as earwax or an object stuck in the ear canal. This can cause symptoms such as discomfort, hearing loss, and a feeling of fullness in the ear. If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to see a doctor to have the water removed safely.
