It's possible that you have an infection in your ear piercing.

Here are some signs and symptoms of an infected piercing:

- Redness, swelling, and pain in and around the piercing

- A clear or yellow discharge from the piercing

- Crusty or scaly skin around the piercing

- Fever or chills

- Feeling unwell

If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, it's important to see a doctor or other healthcare professional as soon as possible. They can assess the infection and prescribe treatment, such as antibiotics or antifungal medications.

In the meantime, here are some things you can do to help care for your piercing and reduce the risk of infection:

- Clean the piercing gently with a mild soap and water twice a day.

- Avoid touching the piercing with your hands or other objects.

- Don't twist or turn the jewelry in the piercing.

- Avoid swimming or submerging your piercing in water.

- Use a clean towel to dry the piercing after cleaning it.

- Change your jewelry if it's made of a material that can cause an allergic reaction.

By following these tips, you can help keep your piercing healthy and reduce your risk of infection.
