How to Build an Orgone Blanket

An orgone blanket is supposed to naturally accumulate energy when used without using batteries. The theory behind it is that it stimulates the body's relaxation response, as well as imparting a bioenergetic charge. This supposedly allows the body to heal itself, relieve stress, ease any pain, recharge the immune system and sense of well being, and repair cellular damage. The blankets can be made in different sizes and with different strengths. If you choose to make an orgone blanket, you should be aware that the scientific and medical communities have dismissed the idea of "orgone energy" as having little or no basis in fact.

Things You'll Need

• 5 ft. by 5 ft. Rolls of wool or cotton (cotton is used for arid zones of the world, and wool is used in humid or damp areas of the world)
• 5 ft. by 5 ft. Rolls of steel wool
• Thick cotton material
• Sewing machine

  Make a double layer from one layer of the steel wool and another of the cotton or wool. This is known as the "fold" in orgone accumulators of any kind. This will create a blanket that's 5 feet by 5 feet.

  Make as many folds with the steel wool and the cotton or wool that you have to complete the inside layers of the blanket.

  Place the thick cotton material over these layers like a casing. Sew the casing over the folds of the blanket around the edges to keep them together.
