  Unbend a paperclip so that it is one lone piece of metal. Open the band and insert one end of the paperclip into the small notch located on the clasp. Push the paperclip down to open the clasp. Remove the rubber band from the clasp. Repeat this same procedure on the other side of the bracelet.

  Wrap the bracelet around your wrist so that the ends overlap and the band fits comfortably.

  Mark where the ends overlap with a pen.

  Cut the band at the mark you drew.

  Place the end of the rubber band into one end on the clasp.

  Push down on the clasp to close.

  Repeat steps 5 and 6 to clasp the other end of the bracelet.
