How to Make Orgone Bricks

Psychologist Wilhelm Reich invented the term "orgone" in the late 1930s. He postulated that orgone energy was responsible for emotional wellness and that emotional and physical health were directly related. He developed an orgone accumulator to treat his patients with positive orgone energy. Today, energy workers that manipulate bodily energy, or chi, produce orgone generators to dispel negative energies. You can make orgone yourself in many shapes, though bricks come in many sizes and are easily stored.

Things You'll Need

• Polyester resin kit
• Three resin measuring cups
• One activator measuring cup
• Popsicle sticks
• Metal shavings & powder: copper, brass, gold, silver, aluminum
• Crystals: amethyst, quartz
• Silicone ice cube trays
• Cooking spray

  Measure about one third oz. of resin into each of your resin measuring cups. Medicine measuring cups work well. Measure activator from your kit into a fourth cup according to package directions. All resins use a different ratio; measure exactly for best results.

  Pour the appropriate amount of activator into each resin cup. Add about a teaspoon of metal shavings to the first cup, 1/2 tbsp. metal powder into the next and 2 tsp. metal shavings into the last cup.

  Spray the insides of your ice cube tray molds with cooking spray. Wipe away the excess so your orgone doesn't have an oily texture.

  Pour enough resin from the first cup into an ice cube mold to fill it about one third full. Place a few crystals on top of the resin. Small shards of amethyst and quartz work well. Amethyst is healing and quartz absorbs and projects well. Arrange them in a triangular pattern so the points of the crystals point inward.

  Pour enough resin from the second cup into your ice cube mold to cover the crystals. Fill the rest of the mold with resin from the third cup. Repeat with as many molds as you like.

  Allow the orgone bricks to cure in the sun for about 48 hours. Turn the ice cube tray over and press your thumbs against the molds to release the orgone bricks.
