  1. The Master Cleanse Detox

    • 1

      Eat only raw fruits and vegetables for one to three days prior to starting the Master Cleanse. This is sometimes referred to as an "ease-in" and it helps to reduce painful headaches, chills and nausea that can result from a total body detoxification.

      Prepare the Master Cleanse lemonade by mixing:

      2 tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice

      2 tbs. maple syrup

      8 oz. water

      1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (or to taste)

      Drink only the Master Cleanse lemonade for up to 10 days. The plan allows for you to drink 6 to 12 glasses per day.

      Incorporate a salt water flush for laxative effect.

      Thoroughly blend 1 liter of water with 1 to 2 tbs. non-iodized salt, and drink the mixture. Salt water is a natural laxative and will help the body expel any solids that have gathered in the large intestine.

      "Ease-out" of the Master Cleanse by consuming fresh fruits and vegetables for one to three days after the strict lemonade phase.
