How to Use Sea Salt & Water for a System Flush

A saltwater system flush is essentially a homemade enema. Salt blocks water from being absorbed, "pushing" it through your body. If done properly, the flush cleanses your colon of any obstruction or buildup; it will also flush out any toxins if the flush follows a system cleansing regime. All you need is water, salt and a toilet, but be aware that a flush can be extremely painful.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the water in a medium saucepan and simmer over low heat.

    • 2

Add two teaspoons of salt and stir. Simmer over low heat while stirring until the salt dissolves. Remove from the burner and let cool.

    • 3

Pour the water into a large glass or water bottle. When it is cool enough to drink, swallow it as quickly as possible. You must drink the entire amount. Saltwater triggers a natural response of vomiting. If this happens, resume from Step 1 and plug your nose while drinking it.

    • 4

Rub your abdomen after a few minutes to help break up any obstructions. If you begin to feel pain, crouch or squat.

    • 5

Proceed to the bathroom; the flush will come with little warning and can be messy. Diarrhea should occur in 15 minutes to an hour. If nothing has happened after two hours, increase the salt content of the saltwater and try again.

Take a probiotic to replace the good bacteria that was lost in the flush. For your colon to recover, you need to take a supplement that contains disease- and bacteria-fighting agents naturally found in your colon.
