Colon Cleanse With Hydrogen Peroxide

In recent years, alternative health practitioners have focused their interest on colon detoxification after realizing that more than 50 percent of the immune system is located in or around the digestive system, especially the large intestine. This means that if the colon is thoroughly cleansed and the toxins removed, the body will now properly receive all the nutrients coming from the food we ingest. This will effectively prevent the occurrence of diseases related to inefficient digestion such as constipation, bloating, headaches, allergies, bad breath, irritability, depression, infections and other illnesses.
  1. Cleansing Methods

    • There are basically two methods of colon cleansing: colon irrigation or hydrotherapy and orally-taken colon cleanse liquid or powdered supplements. Hydrotherapy is a mechanical procedure of introducing cleansing liquid into the colon via the rectum to dislodge impacted fecal waste and draw this waste out simultaneously.

    Hydrogen Peroxide

    • Hydrogen peroxide can be used for both colon irrigation, or hydrotherapy, and in oral cleansing.

In some colon irrigation preparations, hydrogen peroxide is dissolved in water to maximize the cleansing effect. As the hydrogen peroxide is absorbed by the fecal waste in the intestinal linings, the bubbling effect should break down the fecal waste for easier expulsion. In fact, some of the hydrogen peroxide that reaches the kidneys and gall bladder can break up kidney stones and gallstones.

The recommended hydrogen peroxide mix is 2 to 3 oz. of food-grade hydrogen peroxide dissolved in a liter of distilled water.

    Oral Colon Cleanse

    • The other method is oral ingestion. With the right amount and potency of food-grade hydrogen peroxide mixed with distilled water, an effective colon cleansing oral liquid can be prepared at home. Because this method will utilize the main entry point for food, its effect will not be limited to the colon, but will benefit the whole body.

Medical practitioners recommend a graduated, progressive intake of the mixture for 16 days, from three drops three times daily to 25 drops three times daily in six ounces of distilled water. As reactions vary from individual to individual, the dose may be adjusted down just in case some unusual discomfort occurs. When reaching higher doses, more water is suggested. Take on an empty stomach one hour before and at least three hours after a meal.

    Commercial Colon Cleanse

    • Several commercial colon detox products claim to cleanse the colon, but only a handful contain the right ingredients, combination and quality to be effective. Some formulas use hydrogen peroxide as one ingredient. All you do is take the dose, based on the stated recommendations.
