Complete Liver Cleanse
Your liver should be one of your favorite organs. Almost everything that goes into your mouth must also go through your liver to have toxins removed. This process keeps the rest of your body from having to deal with toxins. However, between cleaning your food and drink, and the toxins already in your body, your liver tends to get full, which is why you should detoxify it regularly.-
Clean up Your Diet
-
The first step to getting toxins out of your body is to stop putting them in your body. It makes no sense to remove toxins from your liver as you continue to shovel them in. Cutting out many of the processed foods, eating organic, and cooking your own food are great ways to clean up your diet (and lose a few pounds). Minimize the chemicals your body comes into contact with. Also, cut back on alcohol and quit smoking.
Eat Simple During the Day
-
Do a controlled fast during the day. Remember: this is not a water fast. Eat really simple, low on the food chain. This means limiting your food choices to fruits and vegetables, and small protein meals. No cooked foods like any meat (a couple eggs are good, though), or anything starchy (breads, rice, potatoes, or sugars). Also, drink plenty of purified water first thing after waking. The idea is to eat smaller, simpler meals during the day to give your liver a rest, and drink plenty of water to help flush it.
Take Liver Support Products
-
It is a good idea to do a full-body cleanse like the Dual-Action Cleanse, at least the first time. If you try a liver cleanse first, and your colon and kidneys are clogged, toxins have nowhere to go and just end up back in your liver or some other organ.
If you have already done a full-body cleanse, or colon and kidney cleanses, simply add liver support products in addition to the diet recommendations above. Supplements like milk thistle and turmeric are great for your liver. Also great for liver detoxification are Liver-RX, and the Liver Detoxifier & Regenerator. These should be taken during the day, away from meals. Take one first thing in the morning with your water, and other at a time your liver would be resting.
