Ionithermie Algae Detox

Cellulite
-
Ionithermie detox is used in the majority of cases to treat cellulite. Comprised of toxic waste and water, cellulite is made up of the fat buried deep inside skin tissue that the body finds difficult to expel. This fat is held in chambers within the body, which are held together with bands of tissue called septea. When water is retained by the body, the septea stretch and contract causing the lumpy appearance of cellulite.
Aims and Results
-
The ionithermie algae detox aims to minimize the appearance of cellulite by improving and smoothing the skin's consistency. The treatment also aims to slenderize and contour the treated areas of the body, resulting in a possible loss of 1 to 6 inches from the initial treatment. Muscles within the treated area are flattened by the treatment helping the patient to achieve substantial loss of inches. The treatment attempts to detoxify the body and return minerals through the algae to increase energy and metabolic function. Although many people see results after only one therapy, a course of treatments is required to achieve long-lasting effects.
Ionithermie Algae Detox Treatment
-
The ionithermie algae detox treatment begins with an identification of the areas to be treated and an exfoliating massage applied to the target areas. An exfoliating scrub, containing hydrating sea plant extracts, such as algae, kelp, ivy and guarana, is used in a massage treatment. Following the massage, the treatment areas are covered in fabric before a special ionithermic clay mixture is applied to the fabric. As a conductor of heat, the ionithermic clay affects the cellular activity within the treatment areas, beginning the detox process. Electronic pads are applied to the treatment areas allowing electronic stimulation to be applied using galvanic and faradic techniques to infuse the plant extracts deep into the skin tissue. Finally, the electronic pads are removed and a second massage finishes the treatment.
