For those who don't want to go to their doctor to receive a whole-body cleansing or detoxing program, there are several home remedies that have been known to work effectively. The thing is, without the medical supervision of a doctor, you have to make sure to follow the directions exactly as stated. If you follow the rules correctly, your home cleansing program will run smoothly.-
Don't worry about feeling bad at first

Expect to feel bad before you feel good. When you're going through a cleansing program, there are going to be side effects. Ridding your body of all of its toxins may cause you to feel weak or fatigued at some points, and headaches and fevers are also possible. But just because you feel bad doesn't mean you should stop. You shouldn't buy any type of medication to try to stop these symptoms, they're helping rid your body of built-up toxins.
Home body cleansing isn't a one-time fix

Even after you spend two weeks following the directions of your detox procedure to the T, you're not going to be done. Your body can get dirty within another two weeks if you neglect it. Eat fruits, vegetables and create a healthy diet that fits your needs. Combine a healthy diet with a comprehensive fitness plan, and your detox plan may have just been the beginning to a whole new you.
Drink the proper amount of water

Every body should drink about six to eight glasses of water daily, and if you're on a detox or cleansing program, it's even more recommended. You want to drink the cleanest water you can find. Spring water is better than public drinking sources because of chlorinated, fluoridated and chemical treatments.
Bathe frequently

A large percentage of toxins are released through the skin while you're on a cleansing program. Try to take two or more baths/showers a day. This helps clean off all those toxins and helps speed up the cleansing process. Brush your skin with a bristle brush before you bathe to increase circulation and bring more blood and toxins to the skin's surface.
Exercise easy

You may have to put the weights on hold during the cleansing process. Strenuous exercise will put lots of strain on your muscles, eventually pulling in more blood with higher level of toxins. This is obviously detrimental to a cleansing program that aims to rid your body of toxins. Try talking a walk out in the fresh air or doing some yoga instead.
Do not over do it

The most important rule to remember about body cleansing is that you should never over do it. If you're doing a master cleanse, like the lemonade diet, you shouldn't do it for more than 10 days. Trying to over-cleanse your body will result in negative effects and will do the opposite of what you want.
Diet during detox

When you undergo a whole-body cleansing or detox treatment, you're trying to rid your body of nasty toxins and mucus buildup, you shouldn't be trying to lose weight. It's inevitable that you will lose weight during your detox program, but it would be extremely detrimental to continue this program just to shed some pounds. If you want to lose weight, a detox fast isn't for you. Do some research and get on a long-term diet that will eventually change your eating habits over a long period of time. A detox program shouldn't last for more than three weeks, and after that you'll have to create a healthy diet to maintain your newly cleansed body. Make sure you follow the rules of your program to a T. Don't try to cut back caloric intake in hopes to lose some extra weight; that's not healthy.
