How to Cleanse & Rejuvenate Your Body

If you're looking to cleanse your body without foregoing food, you can do that while also rejuvenating your body with supportive foods. Greens and root vegetables are excellent foods to eat during a cleanse. They also provide the body with many vitamins and nutrients. Fruit juices and smoothies are also great for a detox. Here is a daily routine you can repeat for as many days as you wish to cleanse and rejuvenate your body.

      Begin your morning by taking Vitamin C with a multivitamin. Drink a glass of green tea instead of coffee. Green tea will help speed up the liver's ability to release toxins.

      Drink an 8 ounce glass of water with a teaspoon of psyllium to aid in cleansing the colon.

      Take some time to meditate, write in a journal, or do light exercise such as yoga or tai chi. It's important to cleanse and clear the mind early in the day. Stress can be toxic to the body. Relaxation will help to eliminate stress.

      Take your morning shower in warm water. Occasionally, switch to cold water for a few seconds. This will help to remove toxins from the skin. Use a body brush to lightly massage away dead skin.
