How to Kill Nail Fungus with Vick's
Toenail fungus is a widespread problem, afflicting 11 percent of the North American population, according to toenailfungus.org. The fungus inhabits the warm, moist areas underneath the nail when the conditions are right; some people may have reduced immunity, imbalanced skin pH or simply poor foot hygiene, but the end result is an unsightly and occasionally painful fungal infestation that causes the toenail to thicken, yellow and turn opaque while crumbling at the edges. There are topical medications for the different types of fungus that can infect the toenail, and none are effective for all types of fungus, but one of the cheapest home remedies that can work on some types of fungus is Vick's VapoRub, or the generic equivalent.Things You'll Need
