How to Drink Unpasteurized Vinegar

Consuming vinegar on a daily basis has many health benefits. One of the top benefits of consuming vinegar is that it builds up your immune system, warding off those pesky colds and viruses. Vinegar can also speed up your metabolism, allowing for a more efficient weight loss. Unpasteurized, or unfiltered, vinegar has even more benefits. Instructions

    • 1

Pour one tablespoon of vinegar into a spoon. You can find various types of unpasteurized vinegar at health foods stores and online. Apple cider vinegar tends to be sweeter than other types and is just as effective.

    • 2

Drink the vinegar before every meal. Drinking it before you eat helps in the digestion process and also increases your metabolism. In addition, the vinegar will supply your body with various vitamins and minerals. If a spoonful of vinegar is too strong for you, water the tablespoon down with 1 or 2 cups of water. Drink as quickly or slowly as needed.

    • 3

Dab a few drops of honey onto your tongue after drinking the unpasteurized vinegar. Honey is a healthy alternative to plain sugar, and, because it's sweet, it counteracts the bitter/sour taste of the vinegar.

    • 4

Repeat this process on a daily basis.
