How to Make Heating Pads With Corn
Dried corn makes a wonderful alternative to the liquid in heating packs that can puncture and leak. They are also organic and can be made at home in under five minutes. Corn heating pads can be used for achy joints and muscles as well as for therapeutic relaxation after a long day.Things You'll Need
- Dried corn, 1 lb. cracked or whole
- Tube sock
- Blender
- Microwave

Pour the dried corn into the kitchen blender and secure the lid.

Grind the corn for approximately one minute. Do not grind it down into a powder. Leave plenty of large-grain pieces.

Pour the chopped, dried corn into a tube sock and tie the opened end into a tight knot.

Place the sock full of dried corn into the microwave and heat on high for two minutes.

Remove the heated corn sack and let it cool to your desired temperature before applying to your body.
