About Native American Healing With Turquoise
Turquoise is a valuable mineral and prized among Native Americans. It is still considered a healing stone. Over the years, mining for turquoise was a part of life for many tribes in the New Mexico and Nevada areas. Turquoise was widely circulated and exchanged among Native American tribes with each tribe developing its own styles of use and names for the blue and green hued stone. Native Americans crafted special, sacred items and jewelry out of turquoise.
