Sit on the ground with your back straight.

Breathe through your nose, holding your breath as long as is comfortable each time.

Open your mouth just enough to place the tip of your tongue between your front teeth.

Apply slight pressure on your tongue with your teeth, just as you would to make a "th" sound in the word "the."

Release your breath slowly through your mouth, saying the "T-H-H-O-H-H" with each exhale. Your tongue should vibrate between your teeth as the air passes over your tongue and through your teeth and you should feel a sensation in your jaw and cheeks. If done correctly, the aforementioned sensations are signs that the vibration will also affect your third eye.

Practice the breathing technique five times consecutively, then repeated 24 hours apart over the next three days. After the three-day term, you should feel pressure or a headache in the center of your forehead. This is a sign that you have awakened the pineal gland, or forehead chakra. After the headache subsides, you should wake up with a tingling sensation in your forehead. This is the final stage of forehead chakra awakening and indicates the pineal gland is functioning and alive.
