How to Make Oil Out of Cloves
Essential oils are distilled and highly concentrated, thus you must take many precautions to avoid allergic reactions and overdose. Making the oils at home allows you to infuse the oil, which creates a safer, diluted version. Extracted clove oil has painkilling and antibacterial properties; when used topically, it is an effective treatment for toothaches. You can combine the infused oil to make creams and salves or use it alone.Things You'll Need

Preheat the oven to the lowest temperature. Add the cloves to a pan, then pour in enough oil to cover them plus 1 to 2 inches of extra oil. Place on the lid and allow to infuse for several hours. Check often to ensure the oil is not burning. Strain the oil into the other jar and tighten the lid. Store it in a cool dark place.
