Herb Pharm Detox Products

For centuries people have used the gifts of the earth to produce natural medicine. Nowadays, these plants are harvested and the concentrated oils pressed out, bottled and preserved to make it easy and accessible for the everyday user. Herb Pharm produces a number of extracts, including detox products, each with its own herbal properties.
  1. Cilantro

    • Cilantro extract is used to rid the body of heavy metals, aid in digestion and help fight infections. Cilantro, also known as coriander, comes from the coriandrum sativum plant. The seeds and leaves are used to make the extract.

    Cayenne

    • Cayenne extract is used in a variety of different scenarios. You can use this extract as a digestive aid, antibacterial treatment, diarrhea soother, chronic pain reliever, shingles treatment, cluster headache reducer and to lower cholesterol. The cayenne herbal extract is derived from the fruits of the capsicum annuum plant. Herb Pharm ensures the peppers are hand-picked when they are completely ripe. After drying them in the shade, they extract the oils from the peppers and process them.

    Rhubarb

    • Rhubarb can be used for diarrhea as well as constipation relief. It also stimulates contractions of the uterus to bring on menstruation. Rhubarb extract comes from the rheum palmatum plant. The root is cut from the plant in the early spring months or late fall. The outer parts of the root are cut off and the rootstock is dried and processed. Stay away from this product if you are pregnant or nursing. You must follow the recommended dosage. This is not a long-term-use extract. Stop using it if you experience pain in the abdomen or diarrhea.

    Clove

    • Clove is one of the most aromatic herbs you will find. This healing herb helps relax the smooth muscle lining in your digestive tract. It also kills intestinal parasites, fungi and bacteria. Clove extract comes from the syzygium aromaticum trees. The flowers from these organically-grown trees are picked when their color changes to crimson, then dried before processing.

    Red Raspberry

    • Not only is red raspberry used to relax the walls of the uterus and calm morning sickness in pregnant women, it can also help with diarrhea and to lower blood sugar. The rubus idaeus bushes supply the red raspberry extract. The leaves are picked and dried before processing.

    Sheep Sorrel

    • Sheep sorrel extract comes from the rumex acetosella plant. The flowers and roots of this plant are dried and processed to obtain the extract. Use this extract as an antioxidant, to help alleviate diarrhea, control menstrual bleeding, lower fever, move toxins out of the body and to stimulate growth of healthy cells.

    Milk Thistle

    • Milk thistle stimulates liver functioning. Silybum marianum plants are the origin of milk thistle extracts. These plants are grown in the wild. The pericarp, the coat of the seed, is extracted and Herb Pharm processes it through a triple percolation to obtain the concentrated extract.

    Chaparral

    • Charappal is used for it's anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, dietetic, astringent, mild laxative and expectorant properties. This herb is extracted from the leaves and flowers of the larrea tridentata shrubs (also known as stinkweed). These are allowed to grow in the wild in the southwest desert areas of America. Herb Pharm states it is important to stop using this product if you feel fatigue, fever, nausea, experience darker than normal urine or notice yellowing of the skin or eyes. It is not recommended if you have liver disease, kidney issues, lymph system conditions, are pregnant or nursing.

    Ho-Shou-Wu

This extract has been used for several different reasons including lowering high blood pressure, reducing menopausal symptoms and boosting fertility.

    Wormwood

    • Wormwood goes by a few other names, such as absinthe, ajenjo, madderwort and green ginger. The leaf and flower of the Artemisia absinthium shrub-like herb produces the wormwood extract. Although wormwood is often used to make white wine or vermouth, it is also very good for fighting fungus, bacterial growth and intestinal parasites.
