How to Gargle With Lemon Juice

Gargling with lemon juice not only helps reduce the burning and scratching sensations caused by a sore throat, it also helps freshen breath. The acidic nature of lemon juice creates hostile conditions to help fight viruses and bacteria.       Slice a fresh lemon in half.

      Squeeze the juice from both lemon halves into a cup.

      Boil 1 cup of water.

      Half-fill a cup with the boiling water. Add a little cold water to cool it down to prevent burning your mouth.

      Add the juice from the lemon to the warm water.
