How to Use Dried Frankincense
Frankincense is derived from the Boswellia tree. The bark of the tree is slashed, which allows the milky resins to bleed out. When the resin is exposed to air, it hardens into droplets. Harvesting varies according to the species and the customs of the area where it is harvested. Types of frankincense include silver and Hojari.
