How to Heat Herbal Detox Wraps
Relaxing with some scented candles, soft music and mud can make your skin glow. Making your own detox body wraps is an inexpensive and more private way to get a popular spa treatment at home. Body wraps may help to tone the skin, improve circulation, alleviate muscle and joint pain and decrease cellulite. Some ingredients for detox wraps may include clay, salts, herbs, seaweed, essential oils or other ingredients. Apply them warm to aid in releasing toxins from the body.Things You'll Need

- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup of dry herbs such as lavender, chamomile, calendula or ginger

Prepare the wrap by dissolving sea salt in two cups boiling water in a sauce pan on the stove. Add olive oil, herbs and clay and mix until a paste is formed. Allow it to cool enough so you can handle it. It should be warm, but not hot enough to burn the skin.
