The Most Efficient Way to Use a Dome Vaporizer

Vaporizers turn THC, a therapeutic chemical found on the leaves of medical marijuana plants, into vapor. Dome vaporizers utilize a glass dome to capture vaporized THC, which lets you inhale it at your leisure. Domes of various sizes can be purchased and attached to the vaporizer's base. This gives you more control over the amount of medicinal herb you vaporizer in each round. Carefully controlling the temperature and airflow to your dome vaporizer will allow you to use the herb efficiently, and vaporize the greatest possible amount of THC for consumption. Vaporizers are to be used exclusively by medical marijuana patients with a prescription.

  Grind the herbs up well using your fingers or a pair of scissors. Exposing as much surface area as possible maximizes the amount of THC exposed to heat, allowing more of it to be vaporized. Spread the herbs evenly on the top of the heating plate.

  Plug your dome vaporizer's power cord into an electrical outlet. Flip the switch at the bottom of the base into the 'On' position. A small red LED light will turn on, indicating that the vaporizer is ready to be used.

  Pull air in through the rubber breathing tube (which is permanently connected to the vaporizer's base) slowly and steadily until you can taste the herb faintly. Breathe in harder to increase the temperature if you cannot taste anything. Pull air in more softly, lowering the temperature, if there is smoke coming through the tube (this indicates that you are burning the herbs). The air in the chamber will vaporize the THC between 380 and 420 degrees Fahrenheit.

  Remove the medicinal herbs from the heating plate once they have turned from bright green to brown in color. This indicates that all of the THC has been released.
