Instructions

Disinfectant Spray
-
1
Fill a spray bottle with 2 cups of water. Add 1/4 cup of vinegar and swirl or stir to mix the two ingredients.
-
2
Add 1/4 tsp. of tea tree oil and 1/4 tsp. of lavender oil to the spray bottle. Shake, swirl or stir well to combine all ingredients.
-
3
Spray the mixture onto counters, tables, dishes and other surfaces to disinfect the area. Wipe away with a clean rag dampened in plain water.
Wound Treatment
-
4
Drip two to three drops of tea tree oil into a small bowl or cup. You may need more oil if you are treating a large cut or scrape; you will need enough oil to cover the whole wound.
-
5
Add an equal amount of lavender oil to the bowl. Stir the two oils together to create an antiseptic solution.
-
6
Spread the tea tree and lavender solution over cuts, scrapes and other skin wounds. The oils will disinfect the area, and can also promote faster skin healing, resulting in small or fewer scars.
