      Pour plantain powder into a clean bowl. You can purchase plantain powder, which is made from the leaves of the plant, from your local health food store.

      Slowly pour the water into the bowl, while stirring the powder with a fork. Stop adding water when the powder has a thick paste consistency.

      Scoop out the paste with the fork or your fingers. Apply the paste to the irritated area, bug bite or bee sting. Press the paste into the area firmly. Cover the paste with a cloth.
