How to Make a Cinnamon Milk Face Mask

Cinnamon and milk are natural ingredients known for their skin care benefits.

According to the Encyclopedia of Alternative Medicine, cinnamon bark has been used medicinally since at least 2700 B.C. because of its "antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral, antispasmodic, and antifungal properties," making it a viable candidate for deep-cleansing, clarifying and protecting the skin.

Milk, furthermore, is a known source of lactic acid; a mild alpha-hydroxy acid, which is widely used in skin care products. Lactic acid benefits the complexion through mild exfoliation, causing the reduction of fine lines, improvement of skin texture and increased levels of collagen.
